CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program. It combines movements from weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometric, kettle bell work and powerlifting, to name a few, into an all-inclusive fitness program focussed on covering all ten of the general physical skills:

  • Cardiovascular/ respiratory endurance
  • Stamina
  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Power 
  • Speed
  • Agility 
  • Balance
  • Coordination 
  • Accuracy

The program delivers a fitness that is broad, general and inclusive. The focus here is not to specialize. Through the application of scaling anyone from sports star to total novice can do the same work out and get out of it exactly what they want to.
